OK, Hello to everyone out there. I've been listening to this song for over 20 years and it never ceases to amaze me. It seems to stand somewhat alone in comparison to other KJ compositions. The trio reaches similar levels when expanding upon other songs in a live setting but as far as a original composition, it's unique. To me, it taps into a selflessness, a loss of ego that is mystical really. The drumming is so "organic" and raw. Jack's at a level here I don't even understand and yet is SO perfect and complimentary to the work. Keith is just somewhere else entirely. The droning patterns take the piece far from any constructed theory or thought out technique. How is this song possible?

If anyone has any insight, be it theoretical, ideological, technical......anything please help me to wrap my head around this truly amazing piece.
